N.W. Eagle Scout Project
To give some measure of comfort to U.S. soldiers wounded in battle, Nile worked to procure financial resources, materials and labor to outfit and assemble backpacks full of personal items not provided in field or overseas military hospitals, including handmade blankets, clothing, toiletries, calling cards, etc. Working with Operation First Response, he was able to ship packs to help 30 wounded soldiers and to donate over $1,000 to OFR to aid families of fallen heroes with their financial burdens.
